Jesus therefore answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing, for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner…I can do nothing on my own initiative…” (John 5:19, 30a)
Be blessed, my sister, you have much that you don’t understand, but you will walk with me step by step, moment by moment and you won’t have to worry about missing me. My life is your life. I belong to you and you belong to me. You are always striving, but you should be watching. You should be watching as I give you vision of what I’m doing. I like that you’ve begun to look for a vision of what I am doing in a situation as you pray, because I’m your model and example. You see what I’m doing; do accordingly. Pray, lay hands, speak, do whatever you see me doing.
Father, how can I hear you better when I'm unexpectedly in a position to speak your words into someone's life?
Ask, and pray. Quickly. Take just a second and tell your heart to comply and then hand it over to me. I know this is hard to remember, but if you begin to do this, it will get easier to remember. You absolutely can’t be “in the flesh,” in worry or doubt, if you want to hear what I want to say to the person.
That’s the next thing—think of your words as containers for my holy words, set your eyes on me and ask me to say the right thing. This will take the burden off of you to say the right thing. It’s not what you say that will bring life and transformation and miracles, but what you see me saying and then speak forth from your mouth. You get to participate, but I do the work. This is the best way for you to accomplish my Kingdom plans.
The Son knew this as he walked the earth. He never worried about whether or not he would say the right thing at the right time. He was always tuned in to my voice, which he could see in his spirit in a variety of ways, just as you do. And then he just simply did what he saw. And that’s what you will do, too, and soon you will find you’re getting better.
Don’t be discouraged. It’s OK that it’s taken a long time to get to this point. My hand is upon you and has always been, and I’ve led you to this point. It’s all perfect in my time, which is not the same thing as your time. You will be relieved when you start living this way. Watch out for your enemy who is trying to convince you that you will never get this. I want my power and life to pour through you, and because you’re willing to learn, I will!
